  1. Hi there!

I am writing on behalf of The Conversation Group, a San Francisco-based company devoted to participatory media. Currently, we are working with Herroom.com to let people know about Herroom.com’s annual Undieā„¢ Awards, http://www.theundies.com and how voting for your favorite undergarment will benefit cancer research. Due to the quality of your blog, as well as your reputation and credibility in the fashion community, we are writing to invite you to take a moment to explore theUndies.com site, vote for your favorite bras, underwear and shape wear and write about your experience.

Taking place during April in conjunction with Cancer Awareness Month, the annual contest lets American men and women cast their votes for their favorite brand of underwear. This year, HerRoom.com, the organizers of The Undie Awards have pledged to donate twenty-five cents for each individual voter, up to 100 000 voters, to The National Cervical Cancer Public Education Campaign, http://www.cervicalcancercampaign.org

“If more education can save lives and wipe out cervical cancer, we’re prepared to step up and support that ideal,” says Tomima Edmark, Founder and President of HerRoom.com. “Just go to The Undie Awards, cast your votes and click the Count Me In! button. We’ll donate twenty-five cents for every voter who does that. Last year we received 12,500 votes and we hope to get many more this year. If 100 000 people vote this year we’ll donate twenty-five thousand dollars to the fund.”

To participate in The Undie Awards, voters enter information about their body type and size so that a comprehensive list of the best voter-chosen underwear can be compiled. This data allows HerRoom.com to see not only the overall winners, but also the best underwear for each specific body type, from plus-size lingerie to thongs to sexy underwear. Once voting process is complete the voter clicks the Count Me In! button to be included in the cervical cancer education campaign donation.

By teaming up with the work of the Cervical Cancer Public Education Campaign, which provides vital information about preventing this disease, HerRoom.com continues it’s commitment to both the comfort and health of women.

As you visit theUndies.com site, you’ll be able to view past Undie Awards winners, check out the most popular sellers, and find tips on best fit as well as other important health tips. Each year, HerRoom.com publishes a comprehensive results report of The Undie Awards that provides women of every shape and size, real information to help in selecting the right fit and style of underwear. Herroom.com also created The Bounce Test, which offers a series of videos showing the effectiveness of sports bras designed for high-impact activities as well as providing research data about breast movement during exercise and the issue of breast pain.

We hope you are as enthused about The Undies Awards as we are. If so, we ask that you not only cast your vote for your favorite underwear and support the important work of the Cervical Cancer Public Education Campaign to eliminate cervical cancer, but also let your readers know about the Awards and how their participation can have an impact on supporting the health of women everywhere. We hope that you not only write about your voting experience but also provide links to the site.

If you’d like more information, please do not hesitate to contact me at the e-mail address above. Likewise, please let us know when you write it up.

I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.

    Sincerely,

    Veronica Rosso
